Grant Marshall | Fall 2023
Though he’ll say ‘Dallas’ to keep it quick, Grant’s origins lie in the suburban carbuncle that is Frisco, Texas. At UT, Grant is studying Psychology on the Bachelor’s of Science track, and is a member of the Plan II Honors program. If you haven’t already heard it from him, Grant is involved with psychiatric research at the Dell Medical School Center for Psychedelic Research & Therapy. He plans to pursue a career in clinical psychology or psychiatry. You might find Grant quoting David Goggins on a morning run, playing an out-of-tune guitar, humming a song to himself & hoping you’ll tell him it sounds nice, or reading the same book he’s been carrying around for like 2 months.
Sebastian Grannen | Spring 2024
Contrary to the speculation, Sebastian did not choose to major in both Electrical/Computer Engineering Honors and BHP as part of UT’s ECB program because he hates himself. Born and raised in Houston, he has developed a deep love for the Rockets and Astros (and can’t wait to celebrate the Rockets championship run in 2027). He is actively involved in Texas Equity Group as a Recruitment Co-Chair and as the club’s “main nerd”. He looks forward to his time at Camp Balcones Springs, where he is part of the leadership team during the summer and a bartender on weekends during the school year. If you run into him, there’s a good chance he’ll be listening to a genre of Latin American music or one of Pi’erre Bourne’s albums, and he might try to put you on.

Tobin is a junior business major. There isn’t much to be said about Tobin.

You can find Sid out and about sitting and staring off into the distance at numerous random benches on campus where he will be listening to either Justin Bieber or Drake. Jack is a third-year finance and BHP major from Houston, Tx. He enjoys talking, playing, and thinking about ball. On campus, he is an active member of Longhorn Legal Coalition, where he’s exploring various legal fields and opportunities within law and policy. Max Allen | Spring 2025
Max is a junior Statistics and Data Science major from Lake Highlands, or actual Dallas as some might say. Max loves the statistics club, ASA, where he’s currently trying to work out the probability of landing a 5th straight victory in Catan through his trademarked lumberjack method. As president of both bowlingjas and tavernjas, Max does not get much free time for leisurely activities like homework or job applications. If you meet Max, you should ask him why Texas State Parks are unbelievably slept on, quiz him on country capitals, or ask him to perform his juggling act he learned in Clown 101.
Caden Koerner | Spring 2025

On campus, he’s involved with the Texas Stock Team, Delta Sigma Pi, Texas Venture Group, and UT Punjabbawockeez. In his free time, you’ll find him admiring Jayson Tatum’s beauty both on and off the court, rewatching Christopher Nolan classics, or consuming a questionable amount of Greek yogurt. Ask Aadit about his middle school pen-tapping phase or why Novak Djokovic is the ultimate role model.
Saarang Ramabhadran | Fall 2025
Saarang is a second year finance major from the deep slums of Houston, Texas. On campus he is involved in the Texas Undergraduate Law Journal and Phi Chi Theta. He would bust Vineeth’s butt any day of the week (anyone in the club can get it). In his free time you may also catch him breakdancing in obscure locations around campus. For some reason, he feels the Boston Celtics are the truth and Jaylen Brown will win the 25-26 MVP with a unanimous vote. If he’s not in the corner of the function checking any of his fantasy football teams, you have the wrong guy.
Gabe Boyer | Fall 2025
Gabe is a third-year Chemical Engineering major from Austin, Texas. He is a proud member of the Longhorn Band and plays the snare drum. On campus, he is also involved in OXE, a Chemical Engineering honors society, and Orthodox Christian Fellowship. I dare you to ask him about his dream to own a Cabo Bob’s, how climbing is the best form of exercise, or why you must play as many IM sports as possible. If you see him on campus, he is probably yapping about life instead of doing his engineering homework.
Josh Saripella | Fall 2025
Josh is a sophomore majoring in economics and history. Although he calls Houston home, Josh spent the majority of his teenage years playing cricket around the globe. However, since retiring from the sport, he has found a new passion for Excel and PowerPoint. Outside of Tejas, he is involved with Texas Energy Capital and Phi Chi Theta. In his free time, he enjoys going to Costco, traveling to exotic places, and taking walks. An avid Steelers and Blazers fan, ask Saathvik why he thinks California is the greatest state in the country, why Damian Lillard is the most under appreciated player in the NBA, or why you should use code AUX26 instead of taking a Fetii.
Luis Mendez | Fall 2025
Luis is a Liberal Arts Honors English and Philosophy major from Houston, TX. In his early life, Luis lived in his parents' respective home countries of Mexico and Venezuela. Luis plans to attend law school after graduation because he loves the movie A Few Good Men. Luis loves travel, video games, and reading. If he had to pick one condiment for the rest of his life it would be Coleman’s Mustard. Both an optimist and a realist, Luis hopes Mexico will one day win a world cup (it will never happen). A favorite quote of his is “I know when that Hotline Bling, that can only mean one thing”.

If you see Marc on campus, be sure to ask him if blood drives or why Grey Zabel is the best offensive lineman in the NFL.

From “Out in the West Texas town of El Paso” Marcello is a junior majoring in electrical engineering. On campus, he’s involved in the Student Engineering Council, ChiLDS Lab, SHPE, the Machine Learning & Data Science Club, and the Modern Latino Orquestra. His "allegedly un-performative" hobbies include music (don’t get him started), climbing, running, biking (not cycling), and more recently yoga and art. Ask him about his love for MATLAB or why DJ Bumpkin deserves a Boiler Room set.
James Gerhard | Spring 2026
After climbing many trees, James ‘made it out’ of the cantankerous prison colloquially referred to as the Hoodlands, TX. He now studies Plan II and his side major, Mechanical Engineering, but can occasionally be caught masquerading as a business student. When he’s not sneaking people into Kins Fine Dining, he can be found meeting with non-profits at Texas 180 Degrees Consulting, investing sustainably at SIG, and pondering a 5th mode of transportation at Texas Guadaloop. A big fan of the outdoors, he loves to run, hike, play volleyball, and hopefully someday join the Underground Texas Grotto (UTG). Ask him to say something in German; he’ll be sure to send a “Hallo!” your way.
Daniel Hernandez | Spring 2026
From the suburbs of Houston, Daniel is a transfer sophomore majoring in music performance. On campus, you can find him walking over to Snarf's to get a chicken salad sandwich, practicing his percussion repertoire, or getting involved in Zine Club! His hobbies include getting overly expensive coffee, photography, hanging out with his girlfriend and friends, thrifting, playing drums in his band, Team Alice, and performing under his alias "DJ Bumpkin." Ask him about the niche bands he listens to (trust me, he's insufferable about it) or about the "bike" incident. (P.S. Thank you, Marcello xoxo)
Noah Ryu | Spring 2026
Noah is a freshman Business Honors and Finance major from Murphy, Texas. On Campus, Noah is involved in the University Securities Investment Team, UMBRA, and AKPsi. You can usually find Noah at Whittaker running tennis, pickleball, volleyball or watching Tarantino Films.
